Get ready to lace up! There’s a brand-new addition to the local racing calendar: The Littledown Harriers SOBO 5 on 3rd July 2026 at 7:30pm.
If you’ve ever run the prom, you know our coastal running community is second to none. Littledown Harriers are celebrating that energy with a unique, high-summer evening race that’s all about great vibes.
The Route:
Starting and finishing SOBO Beach bar, this is a pancake-flat, out-and-back course. It’s fully marshalled and takes you all the way to the far train stop on Hengistbury Head—perfect for chasing a PB while soaking up the sea air.
The Pro Stuff:
Don’t let the relaxed atmosphere fool you—this is the real deal. The course is officially measured and licensed by England Athletics, featuring professional chip timing, finishers’ medals, and prizes for the front-runners.
The After-Party:
The fun doesn’t stop at the finish line. Once the hard work is done, stick around for music and drinks as the sun goes down. You’ve earned it—wear that medal with pride!

Find SOBO beach at what3words ///rests.chin.frozen. Number collection from 6-7pm, warm-up to the DJ from 7pm, race starts 7:30pm. Last Orders 9:30pm. Maximum entry 300, no entries on the day.
